Portrait
Katja Holtz
STATEMENT
Always fascinated by her surroundings, the inspiration for Katja Holtz’s paintings came from the modernism in simple architecturale structures of buildings, bridges or underpasses. Born in Greenwich (Conneticut, USA) and now living in Brooklyn, New York, the artists combines those seen early memories of the society surrounding her with the wittiness of the all american pop culture and multi- colored symbols of modern society on canvas.
